@@MADFLIXandGames Yep, in August. However, it's a repackaged release. The good news is, Shout Factory has the original release on Blu-Ray and people can get it for 150 dollars with tax at this time (either on eBay or their website).

I never heard anyone saying they have no issues with this set all those sets were pressed the exact same way many people even people who replied to me on my channel and amazon have said the same thing. you probably got lucky with that set but I doubt it either way the bootlegs are far more superior then that garbage.

Very lame I returned it I was thinking of staying with it but then I saw how many episodes were really bad I said hell no got back my money.

Not really they did it with dawnsons creek Frasier and many more so they can do it.

Exactly no bonus features very poorly done yes sony needs to re release it and send it to us for free.

Yes I sure do I played small brawl once I thought was ok but it feels more like silly I can't really explain it but to make it more simple it's not Twisted Metal 2.

I love DVDs I been upscaling my library to 1080p the picture quality difference makes it a better option as it definitely is much more clearer with better sound. If I can't get a movie on blu ray or a TV show on blu ray and the only option is DVD then there is no choice but to get DVD.

As far as I know it didn't sound pitch shifted I would have to watch all the versions and compare them the audio but as far as my official EGB set that is on the way back to Amazon I can't keep an official dvd set and it looks like garbage if the bootlegs did screw up the ratio I can careless about that the sound and picture quality was better then the officials release there is a bootleg on blu ray that was pulled from Hulu it's suppose to have better quality then dvd bootlegs not sure if it's true as do not have that set I guess I'll have to wait until Sony re releases Extreme Ghostbusters the real question is Who You Gonna Call? Sony that's who.

As long as your happy to ke this set is horrible 15 episodes look like crap I agree there should have been bonus features.

@@MADFLIXandGames to be fair I havent seen more than whats on Disc 1 and 2. And overall the set is a disappointment when you compare it to the Time Life Real Ghostbusters set from 2008. But when that went out of print Sony threw together a bare boned set for RGB that excluded over a dozen episodes. Thats why the Time Life set goes for lots of money on ebay; etc because it literally has everything and then some. They shouldve put more effort for Extreme GB and for the 40 dollar price tag it isnt worth it. When they uploaded the episodes to youtube I downloaded them all so at least I have that. I dont feel as bad because I got in while it was 20 dollars and used a gift card so it was even cheaper.

​​@@bombarde1701a definitely the time life set was really awesome which I have and own the problem is whenever anything goes out of print they sky rocket the price like $800.00 which is ridiculous they made 2 sets of the time life one was thw steel book dvd cases and then they had the plastic dvd case I didn't get the extreme ghostbusters for $20.00 I got it regular price but the set is on it's way back to Amazon I can't keep anything that was released horribly and that is a very bad set this is why I was comparing the 1st episode to the boot leg and the official UK release.

Hopefully I got your name right I think I did well maybe it could have been your copy was good but I doubt it because all of those DVD sets have been pressed the same I got a replacement set and it's the samething blurry and shaky episodes all the same episodes same discs just read the amazon reviews everyone says the samething many people have return their copy mine replacement is going back tomorrow I can't keep something that is garbage and not worth $39.99 or even $20.00 this dvd set is just not worth it the image looks like you have to wear 3-D glasses looking at it was hurting my eyes and many people have said the samething this DVD set was done very poorly.

@@MADFLIXandGames Some people are saying that it is a VHS transfer which isn't that great? And that the pilot looks horrible? Is this true! And why does it cost $40 bucks? There are no special features? The artwork is rehashed from other bootleged releases. Is this just a cheap cash grab from Sony? you are not the only one I thought I needed 3D glasses this set was horrible I was so hyped for this DVD set.

Yeah I re branded to MADFLIX & Games might change it in thr future to something else.

Thank you I showed it in the unboxing video it's hard to notice on camera I believe it's starts from disc 1 disc 2 and 3 disc not sure about disc 4 because in the unboxing video I went to disc 5 and the episodes seems fine with no shakiness also if you head to amazon's website many people have stated the exact same thing as I said in the video the real truth is it's up to you if you want the dvd set since one else had a video showing the episodes and menus I figured I would show it so people don't end up disappointed with a dvd boxset that cost $40.00 even people who pre ordered it for $20.00 it should be worth only $10.00 in my opinion i have to check the entire set fully and check all the discs to be complete accurate I will check discs I've been working on other videos.
